Meet Paul Krekorian

Today on local radio station KNX Los Angeles City council president was talking tough about “changing the rules” related to the public’s ability to use first amendment rights, to protest the very existence of their disgraced, and confirmed, racist councilman Kevin DeLeon.

Why he is not exploring a means to change the rules governing the removal of the proven rouge councilman, DeLeon is suspect. It appears that he and the rest of the council are unwilling to make a rule change that might someday be used against them, should they commit a toxic act that may offend the citizens. Even worse, the councils willingness to protect DeLeon seems to suggest that they might agree with the toxic statements heard on the secretly opened mic, or at least be willing to live with the racist nature of DeLeon’s little coven of racial conspirators, that openly attacks the sensibilities of non-hispanic citizens, and takes a little dig at LBGTQ citizens.

He just wants to silence the protests, but not the reason for the protests. Kevin DeLeon put his hand on the Bible and swore to God that he would protect not only the citizens of his district but the needs of all citizens within the Los Angeles constitution. He lied to God. He lied to us all. How can anyone ever trust that any legislation that bares his racist, conniving input and or vote means us any good, and may in fact blow back to bring us harm. How can we trust that any back room deals that the rest of the council is willing to strike with him can be trusted.

A New World Order

Get ready for the next wave of technology. If you have not already received a call from you “providers ” offering you a new money saving plan if you drop cable service and downsize to their mobile cable APP, be prepared.
You probably already have the APP on your phone, so you can watch TV shows when you are away from home. Great! If you have a “smart” TV or Firestick or Roku, you could be using internet WIFI to stream the entire cable package from that same APP, installed on your TV or tablet. BOOM, you/us will save $75 a month and they will save millions when they no longer have to support thousands of CABLE boxes AND the employees, managers, technicians and customer service reps that keep them running.
This is why you are hearing the sad stories from Amazon and Facebook and Twitter, announcing the layoff of tens of thousands of employees. They need barristers, far more than they need employees. You (employees) however are going to need INDEED. The increased capacity and capabilities of 5g are no longer in the news, because they are quietly adding more convience to your life, and more money in their pockets.
Here is my Tech Tip: If you’re getting ready to buy Christmas gifts in 2 weeks – consider Pricing a family set of VR Headsets, because you will soon be living on the dole, or working remotely, part time from home.

As I see It, We gonna be Allright.

The big picture in Inglewood

5 people have chosen to run against Inglewood Mayor,  James Butts at the height of his effectiveness.  The Forum. Two stadiums. YouTube theater. Home equity, YOLA, NFL and Girl Scout headquarters.  What more can you ask for?

Chika Ogoke is the only male suitor for the position. He’s running on a platform, promising “free electricity” for everybody. OK…

There are four ladies in the running. Fredrisha Dixon, Raina Carrillo, Angeliqu Johnson and Miya Walker. Their platforms were not readily available,  but I’m sure that they can do as good of a job as Mayor Butts,  while wearing high heel shoes.

Good luck to all.

Question For Rick Caruso

Rick, in your ads for Mayor of Los Angeles, you say that you became a Democrat because the republican party no longer reflected your values. Yet, you were a republican because the democrats already did not reflect your values.
You could have become an independent. Did it seem to be more politically expedient, in a democratically ruled city, to don a democratic persona, in order to win?

Representation without Representation.

Maybe we should let the people (or the states) vote on confirmation, or simply defund the constitution. It’s not working anymore, anyway.

Street vendors

Another bonehead move by Los Angeles mayor and pandering chief executive, Eric Garcetti, was to allow vendors to set up shop anywhere they find a slot on the street. I don’t want to cause them grief, but they cause me grief – and my livelyhood as a city bus operator is important too. All they need to do is advise their customers not park in the block the red zone.
The vendors and food trucks allow their customers to park in the bus stops, so we cannot safely service the stop. We can’t just let people get on and off in the street, but it’s either that or stop down the street and make them walk back or wait on them to run to us – which makes us run late and makes them miss their connections, and end up being late to their jobs.

Bear in mind that many bus riders are on walkers, in wheelchairs, blind or just plain stupid. If anything happens to a customer entering or exiting the bus in an unauthorized location, its a lawsuit for you taxpayers to deal with and an incident on my driver’s record for me to deal with. I am personally Incentivized to pass up the stop and protect my own job.LAPD is on one and will not deal with it from a safety or parking violation perspective. 🤔

No On Recalls

I am not interested in recalls. Recalls are merely Voter’s Remorse, in no way different than the two year rancorous hissy fit underway from our former resident.
Unless the candidate commits a crime, the voters should have to live with their crime – the failure to research their choice and properly vet their leaders. A recall typically reflects the attempt by the disgruntled losers to overturn an election while there is blood in the water, circling the standing leader.
I say, let them complete the job handed to them by the people, as they will likely use the additional rope to truly make an ass of themselves and force the people to be more careful at the end of his/her miserable term.

You Get What You Pay For

Everybody was up in their feelings because Jackie Lacy wasn’t prosecuting cops and because she wasn’t letting people of color off scot free.

All I asked was that they take a look at Gascon’s record up in Northern California, before bringing his lying ass down here. Well…
The salary for mayor of Los Angeles is $248,141. Now here comes mini-trump-mayor, Rick Caruso. He says that he can do the job for $One Dollar$
Okay, folks. See you in 2028. 😎

Who Was Franz Ferdinand?

Archduke Franz Ferdinand was born in 1863 in Austria. In 1900. While in power, he attempted to restore Austro-Russian relations while maintaining an alliance with Germany. In 1914, a Serb nationalist assassinated him. One month later, Austria declared war on Serbia and World War I began.

A House Divided

“A house divided against itself, cannot stand.”

I believe this government cannot endure permanently half slave and half free.

I do not expect the Union to be dissolved — I do not expect the house to fall — but I do expect it will cease to be divided.

It will become all one thing or all the other.

Either the opponents of slavery will arrest the further spread of it, and place it where the public mind shall rest in the belief that it is in the course of ultimate extinction; or its advocates will push it forward, till it shall become lawful in all the States, old as well as new — North as well as South.
